Email regarding running out of space. Could i get some advice please?

Hi all, So i started getting the below email a few days ago, once a day. I have looked at all my accounts and none of them are particular big. What could be using all the space, and what is this space the email refers to even used for? The file system /dev/mapper/vg_h3722021106-lv_root, which is mounted at /, has reached warn status because it is 85% full. Server: xxx Primary IP: xxx Notification Type: diskwarn Filesystem: /dev/mapper/vg_h3722021106-lv_root Mount Point: / Percentage Full: 85% Disk Information: Used: 39.52GB Available: 7.20GB Total: 49.22GB ChkServd Version: 15.2 Thank you Andy

  Hello :) It's referring to the "/" partition on your system. You can review the disk space output with a command such as: df -h

  OK, I found out that it can be done with PuTTY
