Linode 2GB memory optimization help!
Hello everyone!
I did not really want to post this but I really did not find something that can help me, newbie in cPanel worlds :D
I have my cPanel/whm installed on Linode.com with 2GB memory. I run PHPFOX (without FFmpeg) and some other sites, but my server deos not response after 2 days running and then when I reboot, it is fine again. I contacted cPanel support, Linode support, they said that memory usage is too high :(
Please anyone can help to optimize my cPanel :o
Thanks in advance

Well, there's probably a reason for that. Since you mention phpfox running on the server, this link to their forums might be helpful: /http://www.phpfox.com/forum/server-hosting-3/some-tips-for-mysql-fine-tuning/ Optimizing a server is always good, but good Server Administration is more important I think. You need to know what scripts you're running on the server, phpfox in this case, and know how to manage those scripts. Optimizing the server means little if the script you're running is not operating properly. Out of date code, too many addons, etc. These are things that can cripple a perfectly good server regardless of how well optimized it is. cPanel is already quite well optimized. It's software, like phpfox, installed on your server. It's your server, some form of linux, and the scripts you run on it that needs to be better managed, and yeap even optimized to run better.
