Hello :) There is an internal case open to address this issue. For reference, the case number is 84937. Our development team is working to have a resolution pushed out as soon as possible. You can monitor our change log for updates: cPanel - Change Log In the meantime, the temporary resolution is to run the following command: /scripts/check_cpanel_rpms
Verify there are no additional issues, and then run: /scripts/check_cpanel_rpms "fix
    Thank you.

Would it be safe to just leave the server as-is for the time being? And will this 'fix' be done automatically on my server? (I am *not* knowledged with Linux, cPanel, etc... so I'm a bit scared at the moment) note: I do NOT change anything with my server via cPanel or root. I just use it for my personal web sites and email and I leave all the server configuration alone. Which is why I was wondering as long as I don't touch anything with the config, will it fix itself once this is resolved. (my sites SEEM to all be operating fine right now) - it's just a few small web sites, and email seems to be working.

It's not a fatal issue, so immediate action is not required if you do not mind getting that email notification. The issue will resolve itself automatically in a future cPanel update if you have automatic updates enabled. Thank you.

If this error email was caused DUE to an update, I would imagine I have automatic updates enabled (?? I hope). Thank you *SO* much for the reply. I'm just getting ready to go to work and this issue was really making my head race. You've put my mind at ease for my shift - thanks :) (I'm the type of person that doesn't do any server config - I like to have the server initially set up, then just work on my web sites. So whenever I get an email like this out of the blue, for no apparent reason, I panic). Thanks again.

Yes, that makes sense. You can always verify if automatic updates are enabled via: "WHM Home " Server Configuration " Update Preferences" Thank you.

I just checked and all 3 update boxes are set to automatic, and above them "Release Tier" is set to "RELEASE 11.40.1.4" I did however get a pop-up saying that new features(all set to automatic I believe) were in place, one of them being that third-party applications require being certified or something. I just hope this isn't going to cause any problems in the future...

cPanel version 11.40.1.5 is now available on the Edge, Current, and Release build tiers. This version includes a resolution for internal case number 84937. The full change log is available at: cPanel version 11.40 Change Log You can update cPanel manually via: /scripts/upcp Or, you can wait for it to update automatically if you have automatic updates enabled. Thank you.

That reply was for the poster (MesinHosting) who was still experiencing this issue. [quote="Tunio, post: 1535461">you tell me what is it means and where can run command: /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/check_cpanel_rpms --fix i count not find command prompt
The issue should already be addressed with a cPanel update. Simply run the following command if you do not have automatic updates enabled: /scripts/upcp --force
    Thank you.
