Hello :) Which mail provider is detecting your email as SPAM? Do you have a RDNS record configured for the IP address you use to send out email? Thank you. 0 -
gmail and live.com (hotmail) are detecting it as spam how do u configure rdns through ssh 0 -
You will need to contact your web hosting provider or data center to have them configure RDNS for the IP address you send email back to your hostname. Note that you should consult directly with Google/Hotmail or their documentation to determine which specific steps to take when your server is detected as a SPAM mailing server. Thank you. 0 -
Hello rdns is set stil mail goes to spam folder. the header looks like this: Return-Path: Received: from server.testdomain.com ([5.23.35.4]) by mx.google.com with ESMTPS id peri22317542eew.181.2013.12.23.22.45.45 Please see "Received: from server.testdomain.com" it shouldnet be like that. What should i do so it be like this "Received: from testdomain.com" . When it becomes like that it may go to inbox please help? 0 -
It's normal to see the hostname of the server that is sending out the email. You may want to review Google's and Hotmail's sending guidelines: Google Bulk Senders [url=http://mail.live.com/mail/services.aspx#Section1]Services for Senders and ISPs Thank you. 0 -
I have set spf but how do u set dkim for the doamins in cpanel? 0 -
Under cpanel> authenication i tried to enable spf but i get the error SPF The SPF system allows you to specify servers and IP addresses that are authorized to send mail from your domain(s). This feature works to prevent outgoing spam messages. Status: Enabled Warning: cPanel is unable to verify that this server is an authoritative nameserver for "domain4me.com". [?] 0 -
That message indicates the domain name associated with the cPanel account uses remote name servers. You will need to check the name servers for this domain name at it's registrar and update them to name servers that point to your cPanel server. Or, add the SPF records manually at the DNS host of the domain name. Thank you. 0 -
I curretly added 2 different IPs under /etc/nameserverips since the domain reported non authoritative nameserver Hope this solves the nameserver issue but I am mot sure may I ask will it take 24 hrs for the nameservers to propagate now! 0 -
The functionality of the "Nameserver IPs" page is for visual purposes only. It is a report, and not a page meant to configure any aspect of DNS. It reports the nameservers used by DNS zones on the server, as well as a count of the the number of zones that use a given nameserver. You have register these name servers to the matching IP addresses at the domain registrar. Thank you. 0 -
the mail now goes to gmail inbox but still to spam folder of live.com(hotmail) 0 -

Hello, I found the following simply via Google. [url=http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/hotmail/hotmail-help]Hotmail support - Microsoft Windows Help 0 -
Thank you Also do you know how to create dmarc TXT records? I read somewhere that this may also help, but I do not have the idea to create dmarc TXT records? It already has a zone with TXT record as below: "v=spf1 +a +mx +ip4:3.4.4.55 ~all" I am wondering what the dmarc TXT record is and how it can be added? 0 -
Hello, DMARC TXT records are done via DNS. At this time there is no automatic option within cPanel to add dmarc records. More information on them can be found here: What is DMARC{/URL] and also here: Create a DMARC record. There is also a feature request open here: Add DMARC config in email authentication section. But for now you will need to add it manually via WHM => DNS Functions => Edit A DNS Zone 0
