root password is correct (100%) but I get message that the password is wrong!

Hi everybody, I have a strange problem with my cpanel root login. I cant login my whm as root. I get the message that my password is incorrect. How ever I know 100% the password is correct. (yes, yes many users say and in the end is wrong but in this case it is 100% sure correct). Unfortunatly I also cant get SSH access. I switched long time ago root access for SSH of and login first as normal user to than use SU to root. This also dont works anymore with the same error. The strange thing is that this is not always. Sometimes it works, if I try dozen times it might work, sometimes it does not work for days sometimes for minutes. Of course always with the same password. I have luckily a second user for cpanel with root access and I am be able to use my WHM with this user and all works but this second user has not the same rights in SSH and since I cant SU to root I am stuck here as well. How ever I can login in WHM and have access to the system if I need to change something in my config. I also checked already tons of things like I switched the Firewall offline as well as cphulk. I restarted, updated my cpanel as well. I also tried via VPN differant IPs, and countrys to avoid something blocks me. But the error is also not some access denied or permission problem but always password incorrect. I would be happy if somebody has a tip for me. It is killing me that I need sometimes hours to login my server. Thank you in advance

  Hello :) Are you using your server's IP address in the URL? If not, try using the IP address to ensure it's not an issue with domain resolving to a different server. Thank you.

  This sounds like a cPHulk issue. I've seen situations where your IP can get blocked. You will want to whitelist your IP or IP range once you get into the system.

  Hi again, I dont think this is a cPHulk issue. I did switch cPHulk, Firewall, LFD etc. all off and this did not help. Having said that it works in the moment again. I am not sure if I have solved the problem but what I did is just to force reinstall of cpanel and rebooted the machine. Now I can login again normal.... lets see in a couple of days again. I keep you posted....

  Try Clearing Browser cache. It happend sometimes with me and when i cleared the Browser Cache and restarted the browser the problem was fixed.
