Missing configuration files in account backup

Hello, Currently we have a strange problem in our cPanel backups. When we restore an users account backup, the configuration php files are missing in the users folders. For example, theire is no wp-config.php (WordPress) or configuration.php (Joomla) file, independent from the folder the file should be in. Of course I've checked the source, the configuration files exists in the users account. We compress the backup files, the configuration files are also missing in the tar.gz backup files. It looks like the configuration files are skipped from the backup. This problem happens with every days backup for al our customers. Is this an well-known problem? Or what is the best way to troubleshoot this problem? The backup logs give me no further information. Best regards

  Hello :) It's difficult to troubleshoot this type of issue without access to the system if the backup logs show no error messages. Assuming the /etc/cpbackup-exclude.conf does not exclude those files, I suggest opening a support ticket using the link in my signature so we can take a closer look.   To update, it was determined the backup archives were corrupt. It was suggested the NFS mount where backups were generated to could have been the culprit (e.g. connection issues to this mount).
