cPanel DNS Only and webserver on same server

Hello. I have read cPanel DNS Only instructions but I have a doubt. Actually, I have TWO dedicated server running cPanel and ONE separated VPS running apache + dns (no cpanel) I know I need two servers to install DNS Only so I go to rent a new VPS (nameserver #1) and reutilize my VPS as nameserver #2. My question is.... Can I install DNS Only on VPS which is running as apache already? Or do I need an empty VPS with no apache, no mysql, etc...? i.e. DNS only + webserver Thanks.
