Horde Login from Cpanel Main user .

I couldn't find a way to do this. Basically when any user logs in to the Webmail as the Cpanel username the cpanel account administrator is able to view emails for ALL users on the system. Is there any way to prevent webmail for the cpanel default users . Don't want the cpanel admin to be able to view any other users mails Regards Manish.

  Hello :) You can disable the following option under the "Mail" tab in "WHM Home " Server Configuration " Tweak Settings": "Allow mail account authentication using the password of the domain owner"s account" However, I'm not sure this will be helpful for your particular concern. It's designed for the cPanel user to have global access to the account. For instance, all of the emails stored on the server are found in the account's mail directory, so even if the primary account could be locked out completely, the emails would still be easily viewable. Thank you.

  Hello Michael, That's not exactly what I am looking at . Even if primary account is locked out, as you said a user having the cpanel password can technically read emails of others. One way to not have this done is disable webmail on that account . This is not a good alternative though. I have however noticed that this works ( Webmail login via cpanel pw and check other users email ) only on Horde and not on Squirrelmail. Is there a way or a file I can modify to only allow Squirrelmail webmail for a particular domain name and have the other webmails disabled ( Horde / Roundcube ) Regards, Manish
