backup doesn't restore mysql
Hi,
We have a daily backup of all our sites. We tried to restore one account today but the database was not restored. We paid attention to marking "restore mysql" but eventualy we had to restore the database using pma.
In /usr/local/cpanel/log/error_log we see:
warn [whostmgr5] program "/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/attracta/scripts/pkgacct-restore" is not executable at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Hooks.pm line 199
not sure if that's related but anyhow...
Please advise.
Thanks.

Hello :) What method did you use when restoring the account? Did you notice any particular error messages in the UI or command line output during the restore process itself? Thank you. 0 -

Could you open a support ticket using the link in my signature so we can take a closer look? You can post the ticket number here so we can update this thread with the outcome. Thank you. 0 -

To update, it was determined this issue was isolated to accounts that existed before the restore process started. Thus, the databases were not overwritten. This is the intended behavior of the new backup system, however a feature request is open to change this behavior: [url=http://features.cpanel.net/responses/overwrite-existing-mysql-database-on-backup-restore]Overwrite existing MySQL database on backup restore | cPanel Feature Requests In the meantime, the workaround is to remove the databases from the account before restoring the backup archive. Thank you. 0
