Question about wildcard SSL cert installation
I have an account in which I have multiple subdomains, such as "signup.mydomain.com, class.mydomain.com, etc".
However, for security reasons, I created each of these subdomains as their own account in cpanel. I did this because I want to keep the wordpress installation separate from the signup files, and that all separate from my actual online course.
Now, if each subdomain account has a dedicated IP address assigned to it, could I purchase one wildcard SSL certificate and install on each one? Or would have I have to purchase an SSL cert for each subdomain that I want to use?
Anyone ever done something like this before?

Hello :) Yes, a wildcard SSL certificate is suitable for subdomains of a single domain name. It's okay if these subdomains are on separate accounts. Thank you. 0 -
Thank you so much. Would I need to install it on each subdomain, or would just installing it on the main account work? 0 -
Yes, you should install the certificate on each individual subdomain via Web Host Manager. Thank you. 0
