Password Protect Directories - Google Bot

Hi, somebody has been attacked my web-site so i use the feature "Password Protect Directories" on cPanel. But google and other bots can't reach my web-site... What should I do?

  Hello :) I suggest using an alternate method of blocking an attack to your website other than password protecting the directory. For instance, what type of attack was initiated? Thank you.

  First, I took 5gbit attack... Then I bought 10gbit Cisco Firewall. Then the attack changed. Now, they are making ddos attack. When I open the feature 'Password Protect Directories' attack stop. But when i close it, attack resume....

  I suggest looking into how the attack is occurring. Determine if a script in the directory has any vulnerabilities that leave it open to these types of attacks. I have moved this thread to our "Security" forum where you might receive more user-feedback. Thank you.
