Integrate cPanel into our Portal

I was wondering if there is an easy approach to integrating cPanel into your own billing system? Essentially I'm trying to achieve single-sign-on where the user can log into the portal and cPanel/WHM will automatically log in for them inside the portal. I'm looking through the forums and I don't want to pass the username and password in the URL so I'm wondering if there is a simple approach to load cPanel/WHM for the user when they log into our portal? Eventually we will customize it and dig deeper but for the time being I just want to load the control panel as-is. If anybody has achieved this or is working for a similar solution, please comment. Thank you!
