Hello :) Who is sending an email to their domain name? Is it from any remote address (e.g. Hotmail, Google)? Or, is it a specific server that is unable to send messages to their domain name? Thank you.

Hello, In addition to what Michael asked, you stated: The MX Record with a priority of 0 is set to point to theirdomain.com And you created an A record for mail to point back to your cPanel server. If that is the case, the MX record should be set to mail.theirdomain.com. Otherwise, you are redirecting mail to their website IP.

It's being sent from an outside server (any server for that matter) gMail, corporate emails, Outlook Webmail, etc... I've updated the MX record to be mail.theirdomain.com anything else I might want to check?

Check to see if there are any entries for the remote mail servers sending to this domain name in /var/log/exim_mainlog. EX: exigrep user@domain /var/log/exim_mainlog
    Thank you.
