Host Multiple Websites??

Hi Guys, I am quite a novice at whm and cpanel and are looking for some assistance.:D I have a VPS with WHM, I have one website currently running on this VPS through 1 Cpanel account. I have recently purchased another domain and would like to host another website through a Cpanel account created through WHM. I have created a package and so on, but my main question is I wish to create a private namserver for this account so I may enter these DNS setting on my domain host (godaddy). So in short, when I go to create a new cpanel account it asks to use my nameservers which are linked to my first domain e.g (ns1.domain1.com, ns2.domain1.com) I wish to set up domain two with its own private DNS eg (ns1.domain2.com, ns2.domain2.com), I am not sure how to do this. I am quite open to step by step instructions, as I am quite lost and do not wish to interrupt my first domain. Thanks in advance Rogan.

  Hello :) Name servers must be registered at the domain registrar. There is a guide on how to do this at the most common registrars here: [url=http://docs.cpanel.net/twiki/bin/view/AllDocumentation/RegNameserver]How to Register Private Nameservers After you register the name servers, assign the name servers to the domain name at the registrar. When creating the account in Web Host Manager, select this option: "Use the nameservers specified at the Domain"s Registrar. (Ignore locally specified nameservers.)" Thank you.

  Hi :) Thank you for your reply, and for the information provided. It is quite clear to set up the name servers via the domain host site. I have another question, can I create the DNS nameservers via WHM. As I would like my nameservers to reflect the new domain, such as ns1.domain2.com, and ns2.domain2.com. Is there a way to accomplish this through WHM in create a DNS zone? Sorry for the misunderstandings.

  Hello, No, the name servers must be created at the registrar level. WHM simply queries the root servers to obtain the information and displays it. The name server section in WHM is for display purposes only and not for actual name server configuration.
