SSL installation: receiving error
Hi,
I've been getting this error:
The certificate could not be installed on the domain "xxxxxxxx.co.uk". error The system failed to find an owner for the domain "vs2183.xxxxxxxx.co.uk".
I don't know where it's getting the 'vs2183' part from besides the fact that it's the beginning of my hostname..
Tried to get godaddy to install the SSL but they said they've never seen this error before..
Anyone experience a similar problem? Or know the solution to this?

Hello :) Could you verify that your hostname is not added as it's own account or as a parked/addon domain name to an existing account? Thank you. 0 -
Thanks for the reply Michael. After looking through the whm, I found this. (link to screenshot) [url=http://postimg.org/image/5ku1pvt87/]View image: screen shot How do I change this so that it is not set as a sub/parked domain? Is that what needs to be done? 0 -
You can access that account via cPanel and remove it via the Subdomains or Parked/Addon Domains option. Make sure the "A" entry is added pointing to the correct IP address after removing it. Thank you. 0 -
Thank you so much for the prompt reply. The only account I have registered is my main domain. When I access the cpanel of my main/only account I don't see any Parked/Addon Domains that I can remove.
