add record in zone via API

Hello Forum, I'm using cPanel DNSOnly version and creating a HA cluster using it. With its beautiful API, Im able to addZone, deleteZone as well as editZone at particular line. However either I have overlooked or due to google, I'm unable to find a simple API to add records in existing zone. e.g. If I already have example.com A record and want to add another example.com A record so as to make it work in round robin or want to add a subdomain, I cant do it. If the API is already present and published, I would appreciate if someone can share the link. Thanks.
