Log files: What's safe to delete?
I have a client that is over quota. It looks like the log files are eating up a lot of disk space. Is it safe to delete them?
Is it safe to delete the entire /tmp folder?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

An individual cPanel account. Their error_log file, for example, was at 2 GB. thank you. 0 -
You can typically delete log files without an issue. It perhaps might be best to empty them out instead of deleting them - some services get picky about that. 0 -
Yes, it's acceptable to delete the error_log within their account if you no longer require that data. You should leave the account's "tmp" directory in-place because it's where the account's statistics are stored. Thank you. 0
