DNS keeps going up and down...

Hello, I have hyperspin setup to monitor my Linux virtual server. The DNS port on Port 53 keeps going down and then comes back up minutes later... Where should I begin to trouble shoot this problem? What logs should I look at? What processes should I be looking for that could cause this? Any help appreciated. Many Thanks

  Start with /var/log/messages.

  Hello :) I do not recommend pasting the entire contents of /var/log/messages here. Instead, you should first verify that your Named service is actually failing. Do you notice any other symptoms other than the alert from your monitoring software? For instance, do domain names fail to resolve, or does Chkservd send you any alerts? If so, you can search /var/log/messages using the "grep" command for the date/time that DNS was not responding to see if you notice any specific failures or error messages. Thank you.

  Use pastebin or something, after following the recommendation from cpanelmichael. You may want to consider removing any sensitive information.
