Spamassassin reject vs bounce
In exim configuration inside WHM (basic) what is the difference between:
ACL OPTIONS
- SpamAssassin" reject spam score threshold [?]
Reject mail at SMTP time if the spam score is greater than this number. (positive or negative, single digit after a decimal point allowed)
FILTERS
- SpamAssassin": bounce spam score threshold [?]
Bounce mail when the spam score is above this number
Is there any difference between the two options?
Also today after some tweakings around I saw an email (the others seem ok) I received with:
X-Spam-Status: No, score=
X-Spam-Score:
X-Spam-Bar:
X-Ham-Report:
X-Spam-Flag: NO
Spam assassin is enabled, auto delete is disabled, spam folder is disabled.
Thanks in advance

Hello :) The option under "Filters" will bounce the message back to the sender, while the option under "ACL Options" will reject the delivery attempt at SMTP time. Rejecting the message at SMTP time is a better option in my opinion to avoid undeliverable bounce messages. Thank you. 0 -
Ok so the effect is the same but rejecting is faster/less resource intensive/give less details back to the offender. Thank you very much you are precious as always and sorry for the newbie questions... 0
