How to Disable Leech Protection?

    In your cPanel > Security section > Leech Protect, do you notice any directories marked here? If yes, click that directory or any really, just to see the settings page, near bottom you find the Disable Protection heading, titled: Disable Protection: With a Disable button below it.

    Thank you for the info. I now find that button, but also realize that I was maybe not that clear in my original request. I want to stop the process altogether and have it NOT run on the server at all. I am not using the feature and it is using needed system resources.

    Hello, You can disable Leech Protect via the Features Manager. Leech Protect (requires Webprotect)

    The option described by cPanelPeter removes the icon from view.

    So it only removes cPanel access to the feature, but doesn't stop the service? BTW, I added more RAM to the VPS at issue so this is no longer a need for me. Thanks!
