Dedicated Server "IP Whitelist"
Hello all!
I have a trouble, I was working with my Dedicated server with WHM, and suddenly, I couldn't login to it in none of the services.
What I made?
I Logged in a different "IP" and went to " security center > Brute Force Protection cPHulk" and I put on Wihtelist the "IP" of my router". Now I can login. But I'm having problems, when i check one of my services, (FTP for example) does not work correctly, sometimes disconnects, and that before, did not happen.
My question: Do you have any solution? Did I do it right?

Hello :) cPHulk only restricts authentication, so it would not cause a disconnect. Do you notice any particular entries in /var/log/messages when your FTP connection is terminated? Do you have any firewall rules enabled that could be limiting FTP traffic? Thank you. 0 -
Hi The problems start in all service... email, ftp... And starts when i log in with the IP I said before... when I log in with another IP it's work. Any suggestions?? :) 0 -
Could you elaborate on the exact message you receive when attempting to login? Is it an authentication failure or complete connection rejection? Thank you. 0 -
No logs, When I try to enter, sometimes, it's blocks (no response). I have to recharge to log in again. I don't know it that probles is of my connection or my configuration of dedicated server 0 -
Check the following log files the next time this happens and see if you notice any output related to the request: /usr/local/cpanel/logs/login_log /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log
Thank you.0
