WHM root login, can't login
Heya everyone! Got trouble with freshly installed cPanel & WHM. I can't login with my root password and I've disabled the linux firewall alltogether with /etc/init.d/iptables stop.
I've also disabled cPHulk Brute Force Protection just in case as I've tried many times to login.
I get to the login screen and all but just can't login. When I use lynx from the server I can login perfectly. Tried 2 different computers to login from but none available. The https certificate is not working for the server so could it be that or?
Any ideas?

Hello :) Could you let us know which URL you are using to access WHM? You can replace the actual domain name or IP address with examples. Thank you. 0 -

Accessing it from [REMOVED IP]. Got a working ssh access to the example.com server and tried switching root passwords but I still can't get in to WHM. Tried googling for answers but didn't find anything after disabling the firewall and cPHulk0 -

Yes, please use examples instead of the actual domain name or IP addresses. I was asking for the URL (e.g. IP:2086) you were using to ensure you are attempting to access WHM instead of cPanel or another service. Thank you.0 -

It is from the root of the url and port 2087.0 -
Check to make sure you are not redirected to an alternate URL. Also, have you tried using the non-secure port to access WHM (2086)? Thank you. 0 -

Where do I check the redirection? It worked one time after I reinstalled it but hasn't worked since I rebooted the machine. Tried accessing WHM (2086) but was not able to login.0 -
