Forward all email for a domain
I was trying to do that now with my domain1 and domain2.
I'm not sure, if I forward domain1 to domain2, will I need to create accounts in domain2?
Can anyone tell about that?
Thanks!!

Hello :) You may want to consider setting up a domain forwarder: [url=http://docs.cpanel.net/twiki/bin/view/AllDocumentation/CpanelDocs/EmailFowarders#Add]Domain Forwarders [QUOTE] This feature will allow all mail sent to a domain to be forwarded to another domain. Adding a domain forwarder will override the default address for the selected domain.

thank you for replying. actually the situation is: i had domain1 with cpanel1, domain2 with cpanel2. now i want to keep all email under cpanel1, and use cpanel2 to manage my email. so i'm not sure what is the best way to forward email under cpanel1 to cpanel2. thank you! 0 -

Could you elaborate on this or provide a specific example? Thank you.0 -
sure. My cpanel1 is with some email accounts i'm using right now. and i just bought a new domain with cpanel2. so i want to switch from cpanel1 to cpanel2. but to avoid missing any email from my customers, i will have to keep email accounts in cpanel1. so i don't really know how to do, because i don't want to setup 40 email forwarders in cpanel1. 0 -
Hello :) I recommend contacting your hosting provider to have them modify the primary domain name associated with the cPanel account to the new domain name. This will allow you to keep your email while still using the new domain name. Thank you. 0 -
