Call UAPI from PHP's XMLAPI

Hello, I am stuck trying call UAPI's Fileman save_file_content with XMLAPI: $output = $xmlapi->api2_query($user, 'Fileman', 'save_file_content', $arr);
API2 has the same "Fileman" module Could not find function 'save_file_content' in module 'Fileman'
But most of the API2 Fileman module functions are deprecated. Can UAPI call be nicely made within XMLAPI ? Thank you.
