Apache mod_userdir Tweak
I have Apache mod_userdir Tweak enabled on my server. It comes up as a PCI scan issue if it is disabled. However, for testing, I need to have access to one domain temporarily under just like the protection was disabled, but for only that domain. It doesn't appear to work that way. What I get is the green WHM 404 screen that says:
What am I doing wrong? I verified it wasn't an issue with the .htaccess file in the account.
The server can not find the requested page:
xxx.xxx.xx.xx/~username/ (port 80)
What am I doing wrong? I verified it wasn't an issue with the .htaccess file in the account.

Hello :) You have to exclude protection for "DefaultHost (nobody)" if you are accessing the URL directly over the IP address or hostname of the server. You could simply leave the protection enabled and instead modify the hosts file on your local computer so that you can access the domain name directly in your web browser: [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hosts_(file)]hosts (file) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Thank you. 0 -
I did have the temporary URL's working but for some reason they have stopped working. I have tried various combinations but all I get is a 404 error page now. 0
