SSL issue - mail.domain.com & domain.com

Hi, I have domain.com hosted, and the customer wants an SSL for mail.domain.com. Now when i try to install the SSL from WHM, i get the following error: The IP address "x.x.x.x" is not available, or you do not have permission to use it. The ip above x.x.x.x is dedicated and assigned to domain.com. If i don't assign the IP, it doesn't allow me to install the SSL. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue ? Thanks
