"Certificate 1 is expired" installing wildcard SSL from cPanel
We have a few sites we use for testing and demo purposes on one cpanel account that has several sub-domains using the same wildcard SSL certificate.
We've noticed that in the last few months we've been having issues installing the wildcard SSL certificate on one of the sub-domains via the "Use Certificate for New Site"... We always get the error "Certificate 1 is expired"...
Now, we can install the certificate via WHM using the "Install an SSL Certificate on a Domain" without the error.
Any thoughts?

To update, it looks like the OpenSSL verifier is determining that the SSL cert is expired. The user was asked to provide an updated certificate if possible. Thank you. 0 -
Actually it was the Globalsign Root CA expired on Jan 28, 2014 and the the ca-bundle.crt was not updated even after running the "yum update ca-certificates" command, but the ca-bundle.trust.crt file was updated... So I copied ca-bundle.trust.crt to ca-bundle.crt and was able to move the SSL cert to other hosts with no error. 0 -
Thank you for updating us with the outcome. 0
