Unable to view website

When I visit my website it doesn't take me to the index.html it instead makes my browser download a file called "download" which doesn't even exist on the site. domain.co.uk just won't work, I've uploaded the html files and it loads domain.co.uk/billing/ site fine. What could be causing this?

  Now it loads /main/ not /billing/ You might check the .htaccess file in the root (public_html) of the account. That's where the redirect would be. Rename the .htaccess to .htaccess.txt to kill the redirects, or modify as needed.
