Backup Notification Email Settings Modification

What i'm trying to find is a way to control customer notifications from an api. The specific case is i have a customer (my boss) that wants to stop receiving "backup completed" notifications. Yes i could go in and manually set this myself, but i have a lot of customers in addition to my boss and building a ui that i can hand over to my customers makes much more sense to me. I've tried searching for documentation for such an api interface, but searching for "disable email notifications api" and variations using common synonyms and jumbled word order just points at the admin UI configuration options for the box or controls for the email service in cpanel. I've tried scanning through the whm api documentation as well with nearly identical results. Am i asking for something that doesn't exist or is there a better way to clue the cpanel search engine in on what i am looking for? Of course if someone knows exactly which api call i need that would be perfect, I'll settle for a compass heading though. In short i'm looking for better phraseology.

  Hello, To my knowledge nothing like that currently exists. I recommend you file a Feature Request for that. It's a good idea and our developers love feature requests. If a particular feature gets enough votes, you can bet our developers will add it to a future release.

  Could you please clarify what "Backup Completed" notifications you speak of here? Only root user gets notifications about server backups being completed. No other customers should. That is, unless they're using the Manually Generated backup tools within cPanel. If that's the case, they could tick the option there titled: "Do not send email notification of backup completion." So, is this the option you speak of wanting to change?
