Limit attachment size for SMTP

I read through the forum for infos on how to limit the attachment size for outgoing mail. So far I only found infos on how to do this editing the config files manually but I guess those would be overwritten on next CPanel update. Is there a way to add this limit in a way that CPanel updates won't override it? For example in Exim Advanced Config GUI or such? Thanks in advance

  Go into Service Configuration -> Exim Configuration Manager... On the Advanced Editor tab, scroll about halfway down the page till you see a blue button... Click the "Add additional configuration setting" Select the option "message_size_limit" and enter your value. Unless specified, the default is 50M (MB)... Hope that helps...
