Hello :) Have you considered using the "imapsync" utility? You can find it here: [url=http://imapsync.lamiral.info/]Official imapsync migration tool ( release 1.584 ) [url=http://www.howtoforge.com/how-to-migrate-mailboxes-between-imap-servers-with-imapsync]How To Migrate Mailboxes Between IMAP Servers With imapsync | HowtoForge - Linux Howtos and Tutorials Thank you.

Imapsync is exactly what requires master user implementation. Can a master user be enabled on Cpanel's Dovecot?

Hello, Could you clarify the exact issue you are having or the reason you need to configure a master user? Thank you.

You should be able to run it as "root", without any special dovecot configuration. What error message do you receive when using it? Thank you.

You will need to have the correct username/password for each account in order to authenticate, but you can create a single file with those credentials to speed up the process, as per the example here:

Is that a joke? I don't have the passwords. And I don't want to have them. That's what the master user feature is for.

Manually updating the dovecot configuration to enable a master user is not supported, but if you list the exact steps you took to make the changes, we might be able to let you know if it should work or not. Please keep in mind that we don't natively support imapsync, and it's not something that we develop. Thus, we can't guarantee it's going to work easily or work exactly how you need it to. This is outside of our control. Thank you.

I didn't took any steps. I think the original question is if it's possible at all, and I'm interested in the same.

There's no native support to enable a master user for Dovecot with it's cPanel implementation. You are welcome to try manually modifying the Dovecot configuration. Information on how to do so is found on this thread:
