Hello, One is for the new backup system (/usr/local/cpanel/bin/backup) and the other is for the legacy backup system /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/cpbackup). You should review the following: Documentation for the New Backup System and documentation for the Legacy Backup System.

Are /scripts/pkgacct & /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/pkgacct deprecated? I used to backup accounts with pkgacct as described here: /scripts/pkgacct " Package a cPanel Account - Documentation - cPanel Documentation

Hello :) No, they are not. Note that /scripts is just a link to /usr/local/cpanel/scripts. Thank you.

Have we to make both backups (New Backup and Legacy Backup) to keep a secure backup system?? Or is New Backup enough? Thanks

Either backup is sufficient. There's no need to do both. Thanks!
