mail not delivered on specific domain

i use WHMCS and i have a customer that hosts the website with me but the domain is hosted elsewhere. When i try to mail the customer from the WHMCS installation to his emailadress (fake) someone@domain.nl i get the error "remote host address is the local host" what can be wrong here?

  Hello :) Please edit this domain's DNS Zone using "WHM Home " DNS Functions " Edit DNS Zone". After selecting the domain name, scroll to the bottom where it shows "Email Routing". Adjust this value to "Local Mail Exchanger" if this server handles the email for the domain. Thank you.
