Automatic Blacklist IP addresses
I am getting 50 or so notices a day on attempts to log into "root" from various locations around the world (mostly China).
I would like to automatically add any IP address outside of the U.S. to the cpHulk blacklist if it fails to login.
Is this possible? If so, how?
Thanks!

You should install CSF that allows blocking at the county code level... [url=http://configserver.com/cp/csf.html]ConfigServer Security & Firewall 0 -
Hello, You will have to enable and configure the CPHulk on your server so that CPHulk will be block IP automatically when found the login failed attempts [url=http://docs.cpanel.net/twiki/bin/view/AllDocumentation/WHMDocs/CPHulk#Configuration%20Settings]cPHulk for Brute Force Protection 0 -
Hello :) There are no features that will automatically block an IP address based on it's location in cPHulk. However, as mentioned earlier in this thread, using CSF and blocking based on country might be useful here. Thank you. 0
