load below 1 and sites are extremely slow

Hello, Today I am having strange problem. I have server with 48GB ram and Soft RAID 1 for hard drives. server was fine since months but from last few days I am facing slow loading issue on all sites on server. Can anyone please help and guide me that what can be reason and how to solve it. Thanks

  Hello :) The following thread is a good place to start: Troubleshooting High Load On Linux Servers It's intended for high load averages, however it also provides details on how to check other usage (e.g. disk I/O and memory usage) that may result in slowness. Thank you.
