    Thanks that worked for me. But why does cPanel storage the backups in /backups too ? I disabled "Retain backups in the default backup directory." in the Backup Configuration. And if i want to restore a backup i have to copy the files from my s3 to /backups right ? Because currently i cant restore a backup, i think because it`s not avabile in /backups.

    Hello, The files must be first stored locally (in /backups) before being transferred to S3 (or any other remote location). They are removed after the files have been successfully transferred to their location. You should be able to restore unless you have also removed the files from the S3 bucket.
