Force Backup now
hello,
i tried to force the backup via /scripts/cpbackup --force
and i get a
[cpbackup] Backup Not Enabled (This can be adjusted in WHM => Backup => Legacy Backup Configuration)
But i`m using not the Legacy Backup, i`m using the "normal" backup that stores all files on amazon s3.
How can i force that cpanel does a backup now and upload all backups to s3 ?
Fruthermore i get a error message for one acc.
Two other accounts were sucessfull uploaded to s3.
Unable to send "??/backup/2014-03-21/accounts/shopware.tar.gz"? to destination "??shopware02"?Two other accounts were sucessfull uploaded to s3.

Thanks that worked for me. But why does cPanel storage the backups in /backups too ? I disabled "Retain backups in the default backup directory." in the Backup Configuration. And if i want to restore a backup i have to copy the files from my s3 to /backups right ? Because currently i cant restore a backup, i think because it`s not avabile in /backups. 0 -
Hello, The files must be first stored locally (in /backups) before being transferred to S3 (or any other remote location). They are removed after the files have been successfully transferred to their location. You should be able to restore unless you have also removed the files from the S3 bucket. 0
