I am continuing to get numerous emails from this same spammer with the "13876 SW" and they are getting thru the filter. Does anyone have a reason for this and how I can get them bounced based on a filter

Hello :) Could you check with your hosting provider and have them review /var/log/exim_mainlog to review the entries for those emails? It's really an issue that requires root access to troubleshoot. Thank you.

I appreciate your suggestion but you obviously have not dealt with Inmotionhosting.com. They just don't want to help. I have had many issues with email and they just tell me that cPanel is not perfect and "things get thru" or they tell me they do not know the answer. When I have suggested that they have various tools (like the one you have suggested) they ignore me or tell me they do not have access to it. The bottom line is that Inmotionhosting.com is useless and I will be switching from them when my contract is up.

The filter you referenced should work as intended. You may want to try using just "13876" to see if that makes a difference (without the quotes). It's difficult to determine why it might not be working without root access to the server to investigate. Thank you.

Thanks for your suggestion but this is not the only filter which has failed and in each case my ISP (inmotionhosting.com) just tells me they do not know why and cPanel is not perfect. At this point I have given up and when my contract is up with ISP I will be searching for a new one.
