backup configuration and user selection

i want to excute the following operation via shell not from whm control panel page of server where is the file in server that i can enable new backup configration with specific options disable legacy backup for all users in backup legacy enable new backup for all users

  Backup config is stored in /var/cpanel/backups, and is enabled for individual users via /var/cpanel/users/$username, with the value BACKUP=1

  how to disable legacy backup for individual users ?

  The same place you always disabled specific users in Legacy backups. Only it's renamed now: WHM " Backup " Legacy Backup Configuration, down at bottom of that page, Select Users. You can't run both backup systems. You should be seeing a message at the top of the new Backup System that says: "The legacy backup system is currently disabled. Click here to manage the legacy backup system." That link will take you to: WHM " Backup " Legacy Backup Configuration, down at bottom of that page, Select Users.
