Help with CloudLinux WHM/cPanel on Amazon EC2
I have installed CloudLinux on Amazon EC2 Instance, after the installation and Setting-up everything, i Associate my Elastic IP within the Configuration process in Beginning of WHM Installation. Then i create 2 NS Server ns1.example.com and ns2.example.com in WHM Configuration, for NS1, i include my the Elastic IP and NS2 i Include my Private IP provided Instance.
Then in my go daddy account i create 2 Host name Related to those two IP's. and forward my main domain to those host name.
But when enter the my domain, it doesn't access. What seems to be the problem? can someone help please?

Hi fsaadatp. Welcome to cPanel Forums. In response to your question, it sounds like you're trying to set up your first domain with cPanel/WHM, is that correct? Firstly, it's best to make sure that you are aware that any changes your make to your domains DNS may take up to 24 hours to propagate. In a perfect world, it would be instant, but unfortunately, life as a domain administrator is a waiting game. Can you try the following code in Command Prompt (Assuming your using Windows on your personal computer): ping domain.com
(Replace "domain.com" with your domain name.) Try that code, provide the output here. :)0 -
In the 1:1 Nat documentation page it clearly sates to use private IP for WHM server. Why did you use public IP, was there a reason for this? 0 -

In addition to the other questions, could you elaborate more on how the domain name is not loading? Is there an error message, a default cPanel page, or does it simply not resolve to the IP address? Thank you.0
