All mail going to Spam via server - Can't install WPSMTP on WordPress Site

**Very much a noob at server admin, so this might just be a simple setting i've missed** All my mail is going to spam from my server. Every site. Any pointers on where to start to look? Since this was happening I tried to install WP-SMTP on my WordPress sites, however I keep getting the error "SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host." however port is right as well as domain for google smtp server. Any ideas?

  Check to make sure that you have RDNS records configured for the IP addresses used for sending email. Also, make sure your domain names have SPF records configured. These are the two most common reasons that mail servers mark messages as SPAM (besides emails that actually are SPAM). Thank you.
