remove locale

Hi all, I'd like to clean up some locales that are not used, i'm only really interested in the English ones. Are the locales stored under /usr/share/locale & /usr/lib/locale from the OS or cPanel? If I log into WHM I only see a few locales shown, but in the above directories there are over 400. Whats the best way to remove the ones I don't need? Cheers

  If you visit: WHM > Locales > Delete a Locale, you'll see this message: [QUOTE] Only locales not provided by cPanel can be removed. If a locale seems to be missing you may need to rebuild the locale databases in order to bring it into the system.

  Thanks I clicked the rebuild option, and it says "Locale database scheduled for rebuild" Not sure when it will update, I'll check in 24hrs to see if anything has changed.

  Still no difference, I think the cPanel locales are different to the ones in the dir's I mentioned?
