named.run huge size

Hi. I just rented a VPS (3 days ago) and my name.run files on /var/named/data are now more than 13Gb in size. I found this astonishing!!! The VPS is 3 days old and was never used. It only has my domain and 2 email accounts, nothing else. Also I can say that my /var/log folder is already 3Gb in size which I think is absurd. Can someone please help me understand what is happening and how can I manage this? I didn't start using my new VPS and the disk almost full. Thank you
