nameserver failed 60+ Retrys

Hi Guys, my server has been running fine, last night i enabled advanced DNS in the default profile (this was around 11 pm) Then since around 2 a.m I've been receiving the following e-mails nameserver failed @ Thu Mar 27 09:23:56 2014. A restart was attempted automagically. Starting named: /etc/init.d/named: line 97: 18708 Aborted (core dumped) /usr/sbin/named-checkconf $ckcf_options ${named_conf} > /dev/null 2>&1 Error in named configuration: /etc/named.conf:4: unknown key 'rndc-key' /etc/rndc.key:1: key '': bad key name /etc/rndc.key:1: key '': bad key name /etc/rndc.key:1: key '': bad key name mem.c:1246: REQUIRE(ctx->references == 1) failed, back trace #0 0x3733c0e6c6 in ?? #1 0x3733c0e89a in ?? #2 0x3733c207a2 in ?? #3 0x403571 in ?? #4 0x3732c1ed1d in ?? #5 0x4025d9 in ?? [FAILED] Can anybody shed any light on this? also I cant login to the server, it says access denied, like a temporary block out, I have been blocked out a couple of times like this before, but after I wait a while, it usually lets me in. My websites seem to be working fine on my main IP but my additional IP addresses do not work, which makes me think I need to restart alias but i cant login at the moment ha-ha. also i tried to restore a site last night which is 8gb, but it did not go into the queue, this gave me an error, i do not know if this related. eter

  I have renamed /etc/named.conf file (file was corrupt) and regenerated that file. Restarted named and it came back online fine.

  Hello :) To note, the /etc/named.conf file is regenerated via: /scripts/rebuilddnsconfig
