Customize bounce and warning messages

Hello, we want to modify mail delivery failed and warning message contents. We found it is being pulled from exim.conf.local? Would changes to this file persists after cpanel updates?

  Use exim.conf.local, and changes you make will not be overwritten during updates. This is essentially the same as using the Advanced Exim Configuration Manager in WHM, as changes made there are written to this file.

  Hello :) Yes, the previous post is accurate. Changes made to /etc/exim.conf.local are preserved but remember to rebuild the Exim configuration after making the changes. EX: /scripts/buildeximconf
