New install on existing server

I have a server that is using a different control panel system than WHM / cPanel. There are dozens of websites on it. If I want to replace the existing control panel system with cPanel, does it require a complete OS reload? Or can I just install it and manually import accounts?

  Sounds like a bad idea to me. No telling what sort of issues you'll come up against doing this.
