What gets backed up by a WHM Backup? Hello, I keep finding different answers to this question so I thought I would post here to see if I could get a final answer. In the WHM Backup Configuration there is an option to backup accounts. Does this option backup all files for that account or just the account settings? If I want to make sure I have everything in the case of the a major system failure do I need to backup each Cpanel individually? Hope the question is clear. Thanks in advance! Jared

"Backup Accounts" backs up all of the data needed to restore the account. That includes the contents of the account's home directory, which includes mailboxes, and also mailing lists. There is no need to do a separate backup in cPanel, unless you just want to, because "Backup Accounts" will back up everything needed to put the account back in the same condition, even if you totally delete the account. To make sure that you have good backups in case of a major problem, it is always best to back up to a separate hard drive or a server in a separate location, which is why we provide the options to specify the backup destination.
