FTP: Domain in username even with Dedicated IP

Hi! Since I changed one of my website to a dedicated IP, all FTP with the format user@domain.com don't work, I have to remove the @domain.com for it to work but all my customer already has the username with the @... Is it possible to enable the use of domain name in username (ex.: user@domain.com) even with a dedicated IP for a domain? Thanks!

  Hello :) Per our documentation, if your server is configured to use Pure-FTPd and the account is assigned a dedicated IP address, you can use either long-form (for example, user@domain) or short-form (for example, user) usernames to log in to FTP. However, if your server is configured to use ProFTPd, you must use a short format username (for example, user) if your account is on a dedicated IP address. FTP FAQ Thank you.
