Change Local IP when Public IP has not changed
Hello all,
Fairly new to cPanel / WHM, so please be kind. However, I am LOVING everything about it so far, as our company is making the switch from Plesk, which I now hate with a passion.
So... we are on AWS and tonight I redeployed our instance which contains WHM. The Public IP has not changed, but the Local IP has. On the Show or Delete Current IP Addresses menu in the NAT Mode table, how would I go about changing our settings over to the same Public IP, but with the new Local IP?
Thank you! Be as verbose as possible, please! I am diving deep into the cPanel / WHM pool and want to learn all I can about it.

Fixed. Terminated the original instance to release the private IP and relaunched with correct private IP. Now to figure out how to remove the incorrect IPs I set in WHM... 0 -
Hello :) I am happy to see you were able to resolve the initial issue. Could you elaborate on how the incorrect IP addresses are configured in WHM? Thank you. 0 -
All fixed. With a little help from George B"hnisch, I was able to get everything corrected and running smoothly. Thanks for the reply. LOVING WHM/cPanel so far and your support is top notch! After our migration is complete, I hope to never see the Plesk admin for as long as I live =) 0 -
I am happy to see all issues are now resolved. Thanks for updating us with the outcome. 0
