HostnameLookups off

Hi, Should we set "HostnameLookups off" in apache for performance. We only use AWstats so Webalizer(which I am aware uses it for DNS lookups) is not an issue. Please recommend to me if this is a good idea for shared hosting?

  Hello :) It really depends on how loaded Apache already is. Are you experiencing load and latency issues when browsing your websites? If so, you could try disabling "HostnameLookups" to see if it makes a difference. Personally, I would not expect to see much of a change when disabling it.
